Extension to semi-detached

A side extension to an Edwardian semi detached house which replaced an existing flat roofed 1960s garage. The extension provides more family space within an open plan kitchen diner and also contains a small home office to the front. The volume of the roof space was used within the new extension to add light, height and drama to the new space. The new extension shape and materials relate to the original old building while still forming a modern light filled space.
